My experience at the dealership was pretty decent all in all. It took longer than I had expected to get out of the dealership when I first purchased my vehicle. After purchasing my vehicle, I was notified that I had a recall that I needed to get taken care of and I took care of the recall at my local GMC dealership a few weeks after that first recall, I was again notified that I had a second recall to do. Stone Buick GMC offered to pick up my vehicle and take it to the dealership and get the recall taken care of And they did, all I had asked for was for them to top off my tank in my vehicle and it came back with a quarter tank of fuel extra than what was left in it. I was a little discouraged and disappointed. I called and let my salesman to let him know and he tried to make it right, but nevertheless, I wasn’t happy about it.

My past experiences with service at this dealership has been very good. This time around, it took a turn for the worse. I called the dealership to ask how long it would take to do an oil change. They told me no more than an hour. I had another appointment following it, so I took a chance. When I arrived, I told the technician that I have an appointment for an oil change and that I will wait for my car. I spent longer than expected and noticed my vehicle sitting in the parking lot. I was not sure if it was done or it had to wait to be serviced. I told the cashier window that I noticed my car parked and I wanted to know if I can pay and go, or if the technicians do not have time to service my vehicle, I will take it and schedule for another time. The lady at the window said that she did not receive any paperwork from the technicians, meaning she wants me to wait. Minutes later, a gentlemen in the same office called me up to the window and told me that the car has been ready, but they were not aware I was waiting for the car while it was being service. :( I am surprised that there was no communication between the technician and the cashier office telling each other that I was waiting. This is the first time I experienced this (lack of communication among themselves). I am not sure if I will schedule a service appointment for my vehicle at this dealership unless I know I have the time to accommodate this type of customer service, or I should go elsewhere.

Fast and friendly. I was surprised at 119 dollar bill. I thought my first oil change was free or at least my $50 bonus on my first oil change. I bought my car there. I am 76 years old and don’t drive much. Most places vacuum and wash the cars. I was a little disappointed. I drive very little I have had the car almost a year and only have 2009 miles. Everyone was great but the vehicle itself when we got it was dirty. Water spirits, windows all streaked and two big round spots on back window which was pointed out and pictures taken. Very disappointed in how vehicle was received. Kind of takes the excitement out of the new purchase. More disappointing is that we sent it back first time because of our these issues and still came back same condition. You would think your detailing person would take more pride in their work because overall it reflects badly on entire dealership. Everyone else was great but I would not recommend because of that certain situation and the fact that management has not reached out about this is even more disappointing..

went in for my 30k mileage service around 9:30 am. my appointment was at 10 am. I thought it would be covered but I guess not. I was charged for the recommended tire rotation. I also brought to the attention of the attendant that the windshield washer motor was not working. he said he would look into that as well. so I went into the waiting room, and it wasn't until 11 am that the attendant came in and told me he thought that I had left. I said no, and he asked if I needed a ride anywhere. I told him no, because from past experience, my services at this location had quick turnaround. he came back a little after 12 and told me that the person working on my car had gone to lunch. He asked if I was going to leave the car or come back another day to get the windshield washer motor fixed. at this point I was annoyed. I told him this needed to get done that same day. he didn't apologize or seem sympathetic. he asked if i needed a ride anywhere, and I told him I will walk and be back after lunch. I got back at 1:30pm and didn't see the attendant until around 3 when he handed my paperwork and keys to the ladies in the office, didn't acknowledge me, or tell me that my vehicle was done. he just left. this infuriated me. such a lack of respect. plus having to wait over five hours for service is unnaceptable.

My husband brought my car in for a service and for your shop to figure out why the engine light was coming on. There wasn’t enough oil in the car and we were told that’s why the engine light was on. The next day the engine light was on again. It’s super frustrating because it makes me feel like nobody really looked through anything else and just assumed it was because of the oil when it obviously was something else.

My truck went into limp mode, then died leaving me stranded. I was able to get it started a few hours later but the check engine light still on I made an appointment with Stone Chevrolet at their earliest time. I did not drive my truck again until I took it to the appointment. That morning, the check end light was no longer on. However, the technician was able to bring up the codes which left me stranded. However, I was told those codes are now history codes and there was nothing Stone Chevrolet could do. This is the 3rd time I’ve taken my truck to Stone Chevrolet for the same thing. However, 1st time it went on a tow truck and testing was completed because the check engine light was still on. One of the codes was a high pressure fuel pump code. They checked fuel filter and found metal shavings in it. They drained fuel from tank, cleaned tank, flushed fuel injection system and changed filter but did not replace the pump. This time, the trouble codes were same as 1st time (exhaust system failure, fuel injection service, High pressure fuel pump), yet, Stone Chevrolet did nothing. The vehicle went into limp mode then died for a reason and Stone Chevrolet said there was nothing they could do because the check engine light was no longer on.

Pricing was supposed to be transparent, but it wasn’t until after 2+ hrs in that it was revealed to me that I didn’t qualify for the $2750 discount because I was going to use the 0% APR for 36 mo. I was quoted a price $67408 + 10/11% as the OTD price. This number was not met. There was no haggling on my side. I was supposed to just show up and sign the paperwork, which shouldn’t have taken 3 hours.

I made an appointment and my pickup service was started on time and completed in a quarter of time from my last dealer service. Service manager was very friendly and helpful as I told him I was starting a 2500 trip the next day and made several suggest like adding DEF fluid as I had less than 1/2 in pickup. I will definitely go back to this dealer verse the one I bought the pickup from.

Went in for a service and had my vehicle and had my truck for 5 hrs, I had to call service dept. to see what is going on, they apologized, also asked not to rotate tires, my tires were rotated, had to go back to Stone and get tires back in position, Service tech wrote on report that all tires were at 6/32 but only (2) tires were 6/32 while other (2) were at 8/32, NOT a good day

I hadn't been to the service department in quite some years. Upon arrival there are no signs instructing where to park or where to go. I entered the service department and was told to go move my car and someone would be out there soon. When I went to move my car a guy came out and started waving me forward and when I wasn't close enough to the line you can tell he was irritated just by the look on his face as he waved me forward more. No good morning or smile from him whatsoever. The guy that came out to actually tag my car and as the problem was friendlier. They called later to give me the findings and amount to which I agreed to, but car had to wait until the next day as they were waiting for parts. The next day a guy called me to let me know my car would be ready by 4:30pm. I asked how late they were open and he told me 5:30pm but there might be one more guy staying a little later but if I were to go closer to six 'he would be long gone hahahaha'. I told him I get off work at 5:30pm and I'm just down the street and would be right there. So I get there at about 5:35pm walk in to where a nice lady greeted me at the window. I asked how late they were open and she tells me 6pm...... so why did the unprofessional guy tell me 5:30pm? Also when I paid my total had increased from the phone call I received from $1,671 to $1,723.... why? I have no idea and neither did she. Merle Stone is a well known name/dealership in this community and the people that work within should be held to a high standard. They need to be friendly, approachable, professional, and listen to their customers. Also the total price should not change after they had already called to give amount and I was told that price included parts, labor, taxes and fees.

I showed up on Monday to check out a used car that was on the website, it wasn’t in the used car lot area. I had to go speak to a salesman, it took him about 10 minutes to locate the car. Then he mentioned that the car wasn’t charged and we couldn’t take it for a test drive , I insisted that I needed to drive it , he asked his manager again and this time it was granted . I took a drive , loved the car , returned and negotiated the deal. We agreed on a price and that I would return the next day at 5pm with a cashier check to finish up the transaction. On Tuesday, I arrived around 4:50 with the cashier check in hand . I was asked to sit down on the cube and I’d have to wait for someone else who was in financing already . Said it would be about 20 minutes. Fast forward to about 5:45 , still waiting , I let the salesman know that I had commitments this evening and that if we didn’t get done by 6pm then I would be leaving without the car . He was able to get the manager to assist with the transaction. I pulled off the lot around 6:05ish. Way too long for a cash purchase. I also overheard a lady in the next cube getting ready to purchase a car and they told her it would be 1.5-2 hours to get the paperwork done. That’s crazy, other dealers have streamlined this process and I’d suggest Merle stone upgrade their system and automate this process to reduce time waiting at the dealership. I assume you have lost deals over this, if I were in that lady’s shoes , I definitely wouldn’t have waiting 2 hours to purchase a car. Or at least have a few people trained to do the paperwork so customers can get out in a timely manner.

Have been very frustrated with the service the past several times I have brought my car in. The log in (IPAD) procedure is cumbersome. Had to call multiple times to get an appt for parts I ordered months prior and got NO return phone call that they were even in. Working with Victor seems that is he overwhelmed and doesn't return phone calls. The only reason I got the appt scheduled was due to the fact I stopped by randomly last week due to my windshield wipers falling off during the rainfall. I had called the day before for Victor about my parts I ordered, and they said he would call me back that day. He DID NOT. So, when I stopped by randomly, I asked for him and he was off. So, I went to the parts counter to purchase my windshield wiper blades and then asked them about my parts Victor ordered months prior. They had come in some time ago at which time I had to schedule this appt to get this done. NOT HAPPY, especially when the appt cost over a $1000 (which I anticipated). Customer communication is a huge issue. I brought in car at 730 am for a 9 am appt and said I also wanted my car ran through the carwash, which was noted and they said it would be no problem. Again, I mentioned it when they gave me my service update. They had my car till 530 pm and was filthy dirty when I picked it up. When I said I told two people to have it washed, they said "oh let me see if I can get someone to run it through". at which time I had no time to wait for that!

Unfortunately I found myself back at the dealership about a week after getting some costly repairs done. This trip turned out to be something unrelated to the previous work that was done. I love my Silverado. I have owned a couple over the last 20 years. It’s a great truck. I always have it serviced here at Stone Chevrolet. I always work with Tom. He goes out of his way to take care of me. I appreciate that very much. You can say a lot about a business that does take the time to make their customers feel satisfied and take the time to listen. That is why I have been a loyal customer of Stone Chevrolet for two decades. All the staff are pretty great. From the service department to the sales department and to the office staff. I got a chance to meet Brent this last time I was in. He is the service manager. Brent really went above and beyond to help me with this repair considering I had just left here about a week prior and I still hadn’t recovered from it financially. I am so appreciative of everything he and Stone Chevrolet have done for me. Great business. Great staff. Great coffee too lol. I will always give a recommendation for Stone Chevrolet. Thank you again.

I wanted to get my brakes checked out because they started squeaking less than 1,000 miles after buying it from Stone. The only way they’d look without charging me is if I got an oil change. After they said there’s no problem, brakes are safe and pads are fine. Couldn’t tell me why they squeak.

I would of rated my overall experience a 5 star but unfortunately there was a snag that impacted that rating. I went for a different color model and did a test drive and began the numbers, only to be told it was actually sold and was offered the same model but in a different color. Matt Rocha did a great good communicating with us and showing us the alternative option. The dealership was able to price match the alternative car for the original one, which was great. We bought the car and big shout out to Matt Rocha. My recommendation have sales communicate with each other on the status of vehicles prior or have some sort of identification that a vehicle is pending a sale or waiting for a buyer. This would avoid issues like the one we experienced.

I decided to get some preventative maintenance done on this appointment that was suggested by Tom when I was there a couple weeks back because of some possible fuel injection problems. I have had this truck for almost ten years and unfortunately I have had my share of issues with this model year of my Silverado. I have put a lot into this truck to keep it going and I have nothing to fall back on. This is my ride or die vehicle so I do my best to keep it on the road. Plus I promised it to my son when he gets his license in February so I need this truck running smooth. I wish I could get my son a newer ride but it’s just not in the cards. So I continue to bring it here to Stone Chevrolet for all my maintenance work. I have trusted these guys and gals for many years and they have always been good to me. I really do appreciate how they make me feel as a customer. Tom always greets me with a smile. Sometimes we talk sports which is always fun and I think it’s fair to say they know me and my truck pretty well. I will always recommend Stone Chevrolet anytime the opportunity presents itself. Plus like I have mentioned before, they have some great coffee in the waiting room lol. I look forward to a couple cups every visit. Great company & great staff.

I brought my truck because of two issues. One was the battery and the other was my check engine light was on. I was mistaken that my battery was covered by my warranty. That was my mistake. As for the engine light it turned out to be a bad thermostat that was covered by my warranty. Tom went out of his way to take care of me and even helped with a rental car until my truck was fixed. Thank you Tom for all your help.

My 2022 Chevy pickup with 34k miles was diagnosed with torque converter shudder. A transmission flush was recommended by he service writer at a cost of $611. The service dept said it was not covered by my extended warranty because it was a “maintenance issue”. The owners manual doesn’t call for any transmission service until 45k miles
