With more options than ever to drive electric, it’s time that a modern, rugged SUV is added to the lineup. That’s where the all-new Blazer EV comes into play. You can get this all-electric midsize SUV in one trim, the power-boosting SS, ideal for your adventures and journeys. This new electric option has drivers everywhere talking about what it will bring to the scene. Here’s a sneak peek at the all-electric Blazer SS and what you can expect.

All-New All-Electric Blazer SS

The All-electric Blazer SS is currently under development, and it has Chevy drivers excited. While there isn’t a lot of information available at this time, we’re working every day to find out more. We know so far that Chevy has listened and knows that we want electric and that we want fun. The Blazer SS gives us precisely those. The crossover body design and iconic brand name are sure to do exactly for Chevy what other electric vehicles have done for other manufacturers.

The SS badge for the Chevy brand stands for SuperSport and has remained a mainstay at the leading edge of muscle cars. It usually corresponds with higher performance levels and features options such as unique wheels. The Blazer SS will also come with an extending charger port cover, as seen in the teaser video that Chevy has released.

Electrifying Classic Names

Both the Blazer and the SS are classics in the world of Chevrolet. The current Blazer offers a sleek muscular design with a bold stance while featuring modern technology and driver comfort. Special editions, such as the Redline, feature blacked-out accents and badging with red outlines. We expect more styling like this on the Blazer SS to match the extreme performance.

2024 Chevy Blazer SS EV

The 2024 Chevy Blazer SS EV should be released in spring 2023 for the 2024 model year. When compared to other electric vehicles on the market, we believe that the Blazer SS will have a range of around 300 miles per charge, though it could be more, depending on which battery options are available. This is the first pure-electric powertrain of the Blazer, and we expect the official model to be bold and dramatic.

Super Cruise should also be available, as GM has stated that it will be on most models by the 2023 model year. This system features automated lane change and other hands-free driver assistance technology.

Ultium and Ultifi Technology

The new Blazer SS will be powered by the GM Ultium platform and Ultifi technologies. Ultium is how most of GM’s vehicles are powered, and more are being added to help make the future even more electric. You may not have heard of these advanced technologies before, but Ultium helps make exhilarating torque, electric propulsion, and zero-emissions driving possible. Ultifi is a software platform that will enable seamless upgrade delivery, new apps, and software improvements. More information on the all-new all-electric Chevy Blazer SS is released every day, and you can bet we’re following along closely.
