4. Check out Wildlife at Herbert Wetland Prairie Preserve

If you want to get up close and personal with nature and learn a little more about local ecosystems, then why not visit Herbert Wetland Prairie Preserve?
One of the largest remaining wetland prairie habitats in the San Joaquin Valley, it’s a 725-acre area packed full of wildlife. There are toads, owls, turtles, migratory birds, and plenty of rare plants too. Enjoy walking the trails and see how many different species you can spot!
