The Buick Enclave received a refresh for the 2022 model year. It has a new exterior look, an updated center console, and a new push-button shifter. The Enclave is a family-friendly three-row crossover with seven seats. The Enclave is the best choice for families who need a large cargo area, with over 23 cubic feet of space in the back with the third row up and 58 cubic feet with the third row folded.
The 2022 Enclave comes standard with leather upholstery and heated front seats, along with three-zone automatic climate control and a heated power-adjustable steering wheel. Power
All the Enclave models use a strong 3.6-liter V-6 engine that puts out 310 horsepower. It works with Buick’s nine-speed automatic transmission and comes with front-wheel drive. All-wheel drive is an option for any of the trim levels. When equipped, the Enclave can tow up to 5,000 pounds, which is plenty for a small camper, a boat, or a trailer for outdoor gear.
Safety Features
It’s always important to keep your family safe, and the Enclave has the driver assistance safety technology to do it. Every trim now comes standard with front and rear parking sensors, a blind-spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert, forward collision warning, automatic braking in emergencies, lane-keep assist, and a safety alert seat that vibrates to let the driver know a safety warning is going off.
The Premium adds a digital rearview mirror that provides a view out the back even with a loaded cargo area and a surround-view camera with a 360-degree view around the vehicle. The Avenir adds to all this with adaptive cruise control.
Technology
Both the kids and the adults will like the Enclave’s tech features. It comes with an 8-inch touch screen, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, six USB ports, Siri Eyes Free, wireless charging, and a Wi-Fi hot spot. Step up to the Premium for a power outlet and a 10-speaker Bose stereo, or choose the Avenir for navigation. Satellite radio is also available, along with HD radio. The touch screen in the Enclave has a bright screen that’s easy to read, has intuitive controls, and quickly responds to touch. Buick upgraded the 2022 Enclave, so it now comes standard with a long list of advanced safety systems that used to be options.
